Barrier spray
A treatment where mosquitoes rest
Mosquitoes spend the day in shade, on the underside of leaves and along fences. A barrier spray goes there, so there are fewer of them in the evening when you're outside.
Where it fits
Yards with beds, hedges and fences to treat
The usual choice from April to October
Add a tick edge if you back onto a greenbelt

What we do
Four steps, every visit
- 01
Step 1: Walk the yard
We look at fences, hedges and the underside of decks, and mark where water collects.
- 02
Step 2: Choose the products
We tell you what we're using and why, and send the product list if you ask.
- 03
Step 3: Treat the mapped areas
Foliage, fence lines and shaded spots, in a respirator and gloves, following the label.
- 04
Step 4: Leave a note
A text with what we treated, where to keep kids and pets off and when it's dry.
Before and after
What you do, and what we do
Before
Unlock the gate, put toys and bowls away, and tell us about any dogs.
After
Keep kids and pets off the treated areas until our note says they're dry.
Between visits
Empty standing water weekly. If they're back early, text us a photo.
Questions about this service
How often do you come?
Every three to four weeks from April to October for a barrier spray or a misting refill, and about every three weeks for natural oils. The schedule goes on the estimate, with the dates we expect, so you can plan a party around it.
What if it rains after a visit?
A hard rain in the first hour can wash a spray off foliage. If that happens, call or text and we'll come back and re-treat the same areas at no charge. Rain later in the week doesn't count, but we adjust the next visit.
Will I have no mosquitoes?
No treatment does that. A good one cuts the number a lot, most of the time, for a few weeks at a stretch. Rain, heat and a neighbor's pond all change it. If they're back sooner than they should be, call or text and we come back to re-treat the same areas.
Ask about a barrier spray
We'll walk the yard with you and write down the visits and the price before we treat anything.
