Questions we hear most

If yours isn't here, call or text and we'll answer it.

How much does mosquito control cost?

It depends on the yard and the method. Lot size, shade, standing water and how often the method runs all move it. The yard walk sets your number, and you get it in writing before we treat anything.

Is there a contract?

No. A season is written on the estimate as a list of visits. To stop, call or text us before the next visit and we cancel the ones left. You pay for the visits we've done.

Why do natural oils cost more over a season?

Plant-oil formulas break down faster than a barrier spray, so the visits come about every three weeks instead of every four. That's more visits in the season, not a higher price for each one.

How often do you come?

Every three to four weeks from April to October for a barrier spray or a misting refill, and about every three weeks for natural oils. The schedule goes on the estimate, with the dates we expect, so you can plan a party around it.

Do I need to be home?

No. Unlock the gate, tell us about any dogs, and we'll text when we arrive and when we leave, with a note on what we treated.

What if it rains after a visit?

A hard rain in the first hour can wash a spray off foliage. If that happens, call or text and we'll come back and re-treat the same areas at no charge. Rain later in the week doesn't count, but we adjust the next visit.

What about kids and pets?

Our applicators follow the product label on every visit. We tell you which parts of the yard to keep kids and pets off, and for how long, and we text you when it has dried. Ask us for the product list and we'll send it.

Will I have no mosquitoes?

No treatment does that. A good one cuts the number a lot, most of the time, for a few weeks at a stretch. Rain, heat and a neighbor's pond all change it. If they're back sooner than they should be, call or text and we come back to re-treat the same areas.

Do you treat ticks too?

Yes, as an add-on along the shady edge of the yard: fence lines, leaf litter and where the lawn meets a greenbelt. It doesn't replace checking yourself and your dogs after time outside.

Where do you work?

Austin and the towns around it, from Anderson Mill and Wells Branch down to Manchaca and Lockhart, and out to Wimberley, Elgin and Bastrop. The service area list shows every town, and the ZIP check tells you in a second.

Still wondering?

Text us a photo of the yard or the spot, and we'll tell you what we'd do.
